In the early sixties William J. Monnat had a dream to own a barn-beamed, antique-filled fine dining establishment in Watertown. To that end he purchased dressers, a spinning wheel, candle tables, original oil paintings and other artifacts. Rustic beams and lumber from old barns and fieldstone's were acquired to complete an authentic warm country atmosphere. Established in February of 1972, the Partridge Berry Inn was once recognized as the areas premier full service restaurant offering a traditional menu of fine meals to include beef, lamb, chicken and sea food entrees.

The Partridge Berry Inn is ideally located next to professional office buildings on a highly traveled road (NYS Rt. 3) between Watertown and Fort Drum. The site consists of 2.8 acres of nicely landscaped land with 522' frontage on NYS Route 3 and 210' on Duffy Road with onsite parking for about 60 vehicles.
